Kara J. Halvorsen, an executive recruiter with Los Angeles-based Chrisman & Company, Inc., brings over 25 years of Human Resources and business advisory experience to the firm.   She has worked with all levels of executive management, in financial services, life sciences and technology organizations, developing corporate strategies that drive bottom line results.

Prior to joining Chrisman & Company, Inc., Ms. Halvorsen held positions in a variety of financial services organizations including Bank of California and Security Pacific National Bank as well as senior level HR management roles at Genentech, McKesson and Snapfish.  In these positions, she has served as a principal business advisor to CEO’s and executive management teams and has been responsible for talent acquisition, compensation, as well as international human resources functions. She has implemented industry leading incentive plans, realigned organizational structures around core business strategies as well as built HR infrastructures. Prior to her career in human resources, Ms. Halvorsen held management roles in commercial lending and bank operations.
