Irwin Stalk
  Irwin Stalk, an executive recruiter with Los Angeles-based Chrisman & Company, Inc., brings to the retained executive search firm, exceptional industry insight garnered from his more than 18 years of experience in several positions within financial services including finance, accounting, loan servicing, problem asset management and general management. Since joining the firm in 1997, Mr. Stalk has handled some of the firm’s most complex searches with a hands-on approach. This has allowed the firm to better understand the client’s culture, requirements and demands of the position, resulting in far more accurate, efficient and timely placements. At Chrisman, Mr. Stalk has completed hundreds of searches for executives in the banking industry. He specializes in CEO, CFO and CCO positions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Stalk worked with leading companies and institutions including Price Waterhouse, Michigan National Bank and Great Western Savings Bank. His experience has encompassed audits, commercial real estate, problem asset resolution and other banking and financial services matters. He also served as Chief Financial Officer for a Great Western subsidiary leasing company. Prior to his work with Great Western, Mr. Stalk was the executive vice-president of finance and administration with a subsidiary of Michigan National Bank. Responsibilities at both companies included human resources. Before entering the banking industry, Mr. Stalk worked as an auditor for Price Waterhouse. Mr. Stalk holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and holds the designation of CPA.
