Timothy Chrisman

Timothy R. Chrisman is the founding partner of Chrisman & Company, a Los Angeles-based retained executive search firm that started in 1980 and focuses on financial services and related industries. His prior experience was as Senior Vice President of Guarantee Financial Corp., a $2.5 billion bank holding company with functional responsibility for retail banking, human resources, marketing, and general administration for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
At Chrisman & Company, he has been instrumental in providing professionals and board members to commercial banks, savings & loans companies, equity sponsor/venture capital firms, investment banks, investment management firms, leasing companies, mortgage companies, real estate investment trusts, trust companies, insurance, among others within the financial sector.

Mr. Chrisman served with the US Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968, where he received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star “V.” Immediately following he completed his Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from California State University, Fresno.
